Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. A limited number of rooms have been prebooked in Halifax Hall, the Endcliffe Village and the Rutland Hotel (see details of these three options below). You can add accommodation to your booking when you register online. There are a number of hotels in central Sheffield which you can book independently.

Option 2: Jonas Live: On site accommodation: £65 (flat of 6 individual rooms – price is per room). Located three minutes walk from Halifax Hall (see map below).

The SPERI conference is taking place in Halifax Hall, a beautiful period mansion converted into a boutique hotel and conference venue, situated within the Endcliffe Student Village, a short stroll from The Edge. With a varied selection of small and large conference rooms, Halifax is perfectly suited for conferences with each room having been sympathetically refurbished combining original 19th century features with state of the art conference equipment.
Halifax Hall, within the Endcliffe Village are easily accessible by road, rail and air, and are just a couple of miles from Sheffield city centre.

If travelling by Rail, there is a large taxi rank at Sheffield station and The Edge/Halifax Hall are a 10 minute drive from the station – allow 1 hour at busy times. There is also a regular bus service which operates from the city centre – just hop on the number 120 bus (every 10 minutes).

Manchester, Leeds/Bradford and Nottingham East Midlands airports are all about an hour’s travel time from Sheffield.
Robin Hood Airport near Doncaster is around 35 minutes away by car.
Manchester Airport is served by many domestic and international carriers and has a direct rail link to Sheffield both day and night.
Both London airports (Heathrow and Gatwick) are reasonably accessible by rail with just one change of train. We recommend you to allow at least four hours travel time between either of these airports and Sheffield.
