The SPERI Conference is a key forum for debating major contemporary issues in political economy in new and challenging ways. It takes place in Halifax Hall in a leafy part of Sheffield and attracts a range of leading scholars, doctoral students and practitioners with an interest in political economy.
We are very pleased to announce that our 2018 conference will take place on 2-4 July 2018, just a few weeks before the tenth anniversary of the collapse of Lehman Brothers, an event which exemplified the early stages of the financial crisis.
The first call for papers will be published in September 2017. Join our mailing list to be kept up to date.
